US Atmospheric Folk / Black Metal. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to get this ! It is way beyond beautiful !!! The interplay between the harsh & female vocals as well as the drumming & violins in some songs is amazing. Highly recommended!!!

A quelques jours d'intervalle par rapport à The Great Filter sort TYPE III, un deuxième E.P. qui est calqué sur exactement le même moule : il s'agit d'une piste unique qui atteint presque la vingtaine de minutes et dans lequel le black metal atmosphérique de Mesarthim prend une dimension théâtrale et épique. Malgré tout, il ne s'agit pas d'un simple clone : TYPE III est plus lent et oxygéné et laisse la parole aux synthés, avec violons et pianos mis en avant. Un très bel alter ego magique !
